The organization is actively cooperating with the Economic Council of UNON and the Council of Europe. Thebasic principles of the Association are set out in the Declaration of Human Rights : the expansion of world , the development of cultural relations , exchange of experience , helping to solve social problems , and, of course , the preservation of world peace .

International Police Association is open to all police officers. Its members are engaged in forensic science , studying the history of a police develop new methods of crime prevention.
